Reflective Assessments
An intake and reflective assessment process allows IMS trainers to assist companies and organizations in identifying and reaching their greatest potential via training, facilitation, planning and evaluation. An environment of empowerment and responsibility promotes positive movement through challenging situations to successful outcomes.
People Perspectives
Concerns within organizations and businesses are often tied to human perceptions and interactions. Our trained interveners have years of experience in mediating complex disputes and are particularly skilled in identifying and helping people see new ways to achieve positive results. Shared understandings allow participants to become more aware of their perspectives and the perspectives of others as they work together to transcend challenging situations.
Training Style
A Facilitative approach involves a strategy of using questions, listening, and making observations to assist with identification of feelings, facts and behaviors. Participants are encouraged take responsibility for creating their own solutions through an opportunity to reach shared understanding, work together, demonstrate abilities, and practice new skills. Our training style is interactive and participatory as trainers share their experience and trainees are given direct guidance and feedback.
Training Topics
Each training is individualized to meet identified goals and needs. A few of the topics we have addressed in training include Conflict Management; De-escalating Challenging Situations, Intent and Impact, Neutral Responses During Crisis, Civility in the Workplace, Preventing and Managing Burnout, Stress Management and Self-Care; Internal and External Boundaries in Service Work, Communication Styles Assessment; Dealing with Difficult Behaviors, and Strategies for Working with Competitive Parties. Our staff can draw upon their vast experience to create a training that meets the unique needs of organizations and businesses.
