IMS provides Mediator Professional Development Training

​Iowa Mediation Service provided Mediator Professional Development Training to its staff and ad-hoc mediators on Tuesday. The purpose of this training is to provide resources, support, and guidance to the mediators who work with IMS throughout the State of Iowa. Mediators from across the state attended the training, which was led by IMS Regional Coordinators Stan Deardeuff and Daniel Butters. The training is an opportunity for IMS to assist their ad-hoc mediators in professional development, as well as review the methods and best practices to be used by mediators when providing services for IMS. The training lasted 5 hours and was held at IMS Executive Offices located in West Des Moines.
